Reminiscing Meant to Live Singapore and Manila 2007

Here are two videos from their previous concerts in Singapore and Manila. Frontman Jon Foreman with a heartening and compelling message of the song encourages the audience to live a life that is bigger than ourselves.

Drum beating rolling, guitars roaring with a little guitar lick and riff and some hounding effects while Jon is delivering a story saying, "One of the reasons why we are so excited to come here is because our friends at IJM is getting 20% of your tickets. For those of you who don't know,  IJM is International Justice Mission and what they are about is rescuing people that are being trafficked in and out of the country and rescuing young girls and so that's something that certainly something where we are coming from is a big part of what we are as a band. So this is a company that has already rescued a hundred young girls from within the city of Manila. And that is something we are going to share about. I wanna be
part of a generation that throws our money, throws our time and thorows all that we are against something bigger than ourselves. I am so sick and tired of the days, the weeks, the years roll by and nothing happens, nothing happens. within without within without. its gotta change in here and then its gotta change out there. This is a song about living life." Then drum rolls into a familiar guitar intro pausing and roaring thru Jon singing "Fumbling our confidence...." and truly yes, we were meant to live with so much more.

And what is more? More than our dreams -- because there is so much meaning in the life that we dare dream of. "There is so much more than just living and trying to make it through the day," says Steven Curtis Chapman in his song "More to this Life". there is a purpose in the life that we have to discover and maximize. And what is more? More than the passions that is deposited in our inmost hearts. There is just a reason more than what we know why these passions dwell in our hearts for the rest of our life. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says "He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." 


So this time, we gotta heed the passion from within to fulfill the purpose God has designed for us. And this passion will bless God and other people.
